Pretty good performance AFAIC. Sometimes adversity just gets too tough and The Sharks didnt have the old heads to pull the side through mentally.

Dugan - 7. Yes, 7. If he aint there I’m sure the right side crumbles. Thats whether at fullback or centre. In fact I think it was bettr that he was behind the 4 rookie right side than in. Had some bloopers sure, but he’s a hard merkin. I’m not surprised he gets wounded.

Feki - 6. If Felix scored twice in any game every sin he ever committed was forgiven. For some reason not so Feki. He was solid but as far as this place goes was going to be a whipping boy from the minute Nikiuoro scord even though Ferguson had every advantage in that jump off and also took Feki out of the play by pulling him down after the tap back,

Morris - 6. He’s just always where he needs to be and should be and gets every task right.

Xerri - 6. Did all I expected from him. Defended solidly, did hid hitups and Im guessing got to his points. No clean ball but didnt expect him to get any when I saw rhe run on side.

Katoa - 4. Apparently ran for 467 metres. At least 80 of them were towards the goal line. Tried weally, weally hard though. I’ll concede him that

Pissflap junior - 4. Nuh. Poor kicking game, poor passing game, poor option taking. Had basically the same right side he had last year in reggies and couldn’t get them going in a Group 2 race.

Chad - 7. Tried very hard to do the job of 3 players. His job, SJs job and Mythlan’s job. Did pretty well too. Got several repeat sets. Tackled his little coif out. Had no help from the forwards this game

Fifita - 6. How injured is he? Really? Normally being a leader brings out his best and although he did his job he didnt bring anything else.

Brailey - 7. Best forward. Asked questions, tackled the monsters gamely. Emerging now.

Prior - 6. Seems to have hit the wall. Lost 1/2 yard of pace making his renowned hits less effective and his hitups in the trundler class.

Capewell - 3. Would be nervous about June 30th

Nikora - 6. Obviously a natural line runner who has been schooled in it even more over the break. However, looked like a one trick pony last night. Don’t think he passed once to Xerri. Dont even think I saw him look at him. Demon tackler though and exciting prospect for sure but last night showed his limitations. Clearly given a simple role and sticks to it.

Boogs - 4. He is a deadset goodun when he plays with splinters in his arse. Put him in the starting side and he goes walkabout.

Woods - 2. Wasnt bad, just didnt get going.

Sorenson - 2. Another snark in fear of June 30th

Williams - 5. Got no leeway from Parra and didnt seem to know how to get any. When that happens young fella just put the head down and the bum up.

Brailey the Younger - 3. Didn’t do anything. Didn’t seem to attempt anything either. Looked like a deer in the headlights in this one.

Like it or lump it.

Didn’t see the game but Feki - 0.
-10 for everything he normally does and 5 for each try.

Our forwards are going to rate lowly for me as long as they continue to ply the call slowly and fight on every tackle while on their feet. They didn’t win one Rick all night.

The wingers aren’t giving any free yardage and roll on out of trouble at the moment either.

Pretty much right with the exception of Flanno who I thought did pretty well. & Capewell who I think is building nicely on that edge, when he allwed to risk a pass I think its going to start coming off. Right now, they defend him knowhing hes told not to pass.

Nikora has done ten times more than Capewell ever has in his four games.

Once wade is back Capewell will be dropped

Players like bukuya and capewell look good when the rest of the team is firing, when asked to do the bulk of the work they are absolute plodders

Did I mention Nikora in my post?

Nikora is better. I agree. However, Capewell isn’t as bad as he is made out on these forums. Nikora could learn a thing or two from him probably about taking a couple of the tough hit up’s when we’re getting hammered coming off our line.

Not having a go at you but i was just saying I see more in Nikora and see him getting picked ahead of Capewell because I think he is better and probably the best of our rookies so far this season.

They are plodders, end of story. They do not have the Shark culture of never giving up and having a go. They are bludgers and should be booted from the team

Nikora was probably the best player besides Brailey.
Capewell running away like a little girl to gift Jennings a try killed their chances.
