What the f**k does that have to do about music? Rooting thousands of STD-ridden groupies is hardly something to be proud of in my books and I think it shows that bands in this genre were just in it for the drugs and women; whereas expressing something personal/emotional through music should be paramount.

Find me somewhere else where people give a toss about Ratt in 2004? I certainly don't know anywhere but here.

Valid point. The Darkness have no reverb in their songs. Their music has a better allround tone IMO.

The Darkness is all about playing some rocking tunes but with the old wink to the camera thing. They know the music is big and dumb but it's fun, and that's what a lot of the hair bands didn't appreciate at the time.

So true. The Darkness are about bringing the fun back into Rock N Roll. For so long the music industy has endured these depressed wankers going on about how much hate and depression they feel. Like The Darkness I hate that kind of music and celebrated for days when I "discovered" them.
The music is f**king awesome...The whole glam rock thing is only for a laugh and its really only Justin (singer) that goes along with it.
