Jim Ross and Jerry The King Lawler welcomed viewers to the show as General Manager Eric Bischoff headed down the ramp carrying the World Heavyweight Title Belt. He noted that hed come back from vacation to a vacated World Heavyweight Championship and a new Womens Title holder. He was not pleased.
Bischoff began to recap the history of the disputed title until Triple H rudely interrupted him. Due to the special circumstances, Triple H felt that the title should revert to him. Of course, Chris Benoit and Edge chimed in with their thoughts on the subject. They came to blows backstage and had to be pulled apart.
Bischoff decided if they wanted to fight so bad, they could do it in the ring tonight.

Back from the break, Orton was slamming Edge into the ring steps. Back in the ring, Orton had Edge in a submission hold. The momentum turned in favor of Edge, and Orton found himself on the outside. As Orton tried to climb back into the ring, Edge speared him right into the security wall. Edge got Orton back into the ring and went for a pin. Orton got a foot on the rope, and Edge grew frustrated. Edge had Orton tied up in a modified sleeper and Orton tried to battle his way out of it. He finally made it to his feet, and the two began to trade punches. They collided in mid-ring and the ref started counting them out. Both got to their feet and Edge came off the top turnbuckle. Orton met him in mid-air with a drop kick. They traded right hands again. Orton got a near fall. Then Edge got a near fall. Edge with another near fall off a backslide. In the dressing room, Ric Flair was scheming with Triple H. Batista walked up and told Triple to go out and dominate. That seemed to please Triple H, but Batista may have had something else in mind.

Clips aired of the Macon, Georgia, house show. Come to our house shows please.
Christy and assorted Diva Search losers were in the ring shooting tee shirts into the crowd. (At least shes doing something for that quarter of a million dollars.)
Suddenly, Gene Snitsky jumped into the ring and scared the divas. He said he loved to have fun, and he planned to have some fun with them. (He certainly is a smooth talker.) He wanted to dance, then grabbed Christy around the neck. He told her he wasnt having fun unless someone was suffering.
Lita appeared at the top of the ramp. She said picking on women must make him feel like a big man. She said her husband, Kane, would be coming back, and when he does, Kane would beat the holy hell out of the Big Snit.
That did it. He dropped Christy and ran after Lita. The dreaded Wall of Fire stopped him as Lita ran back stage.

Quarter Hour 4
Triple Hs movie, Blade Trinity, opened last week. Clips aired of himself walking the red carpet at the premiere.
Candace was putting makeup on Christian as he complained to Tyson Tomko about the stupid sequined costume he was forced to wear. He criticized Candices eye shadow, then blew her off. He ran into Eugene, who recognized him right away as Captain Charisma.
Mick Foley walked up and Eugene went off with his hero, but not before stealing Foleys cheap pop by mentioning Bobby Eaton, whos from right here in Huntsville, Alabama.

Triple H tripped when he went to fling Benoit across the ring, but went for a cover anyway. When that didnt work, he began to stretch Benoit, even using Batista as leverage.
Batista and Jericho tagged in. Chop block on Batista and Jericho tried to put him in the Walls. Roll-up and near fall by Jericho. Batista went for a power bomb, but Jericho with an inzuigiri and a springboard dropkick. Benoit with a diving head butt on Batista, then Benoit put him in the sharpshooter. Quarter Hour 6
Mick Foley came out to a huge pop from the Huntsville crowd. He said the holidays wouldnt be complete without a cheap Mick Foley book plug. He had Christmas Chaos with him, but that wasnt his announcement. He said although hed been a Raw guy of late, next week hed be going to Smackdown. But it would be a very special Smackdown, it would be the holiday show from Iraq. Clips aired of last years Christmas show.
As Foley continued speaking about how honored he was to be able to support Americans troops, Hassan and Daivari came out to interrupt.
A loud USA chant started as Daivari introduced Hassan, who addressed Mick Foley. Rather rudely. Then the What? chants started. Hassan said he was a prisoner in his own country. Blah, blah, blah.
Foley appreciated his passion, but disagreed with almost every word hed said. But isnt it wonderful that he lived in a great country where he was free to express his views, no matter how stupid they sound, he said.
Hassan continued until Foley said hed pissed him off. Hassan and Daivari advanced toward the ring as Foley said he supported Americathe land of the free and the home of the brave. Foley invited them to step into Foley Island (the ring) where they would feel his fist in their mouth and his boot in their ass.
Hassan had taken off his shirt to climb into the ring, then turned around and left, saying he didnt respect Foley enough to fight him.

Quarter Hour 7
Highlights were shown of last weeks Womens Title match, including Litas scary dive to the outside. Lita had walked away the winner.
Todd Grisham was interviewing Trish about her loss last week. She got her broken nose out of joint and told Tom shed slap the glasses off his face. She said Lita had better enjoy the title while she has it.
Rochelle, yet another busty diva, was being interviewed by Eric Bischoff when Edge burst in. He was pleading his case (in a whiney sort of way) and Bischoff told him that after hed made his announcement, Edge would have something hed never had before. Ah, poor gullible Edge.

(3) Six-Man Tag Match: Maven, Christian & Tyson Tomko over Eugene, William Regal, & Shelton Benjamin. Christian started by pummeling Eugene, who reached into his trunks and pulled out Mr. Socko. Airplane spins for Christian and a toss to the outside for Maven. Tomko tagged in to solve some problems, then it was Mavens turn. Eugene was unable to make it to his corner to make the tag to a teammate. Eugene with a stunner to Maven, and he tagged Benjamin in. Benjamin cleaned house, but Stinger splashed himself into the corner. It turned into a brawl, with Eugene pulling out Mr. Socko and Maven rolled up Shelton Benjamin for a surprise pin.
The interactive vote was for a Triple Threat Rematch.
Bischoff, with the title belt over his shoulder, headed out the door to the ring. He ran into Triple H, who begged Bischoff to make the right decision. He was practically in tears as he tried to persuade Bischoff to do what was right for business. And, of course, Triple H was right for business.
Bischoff said he take it into consideration.
(Commercial break)
Next Monday will be a Best of show.
Eric Bischoffs music hit and he headed down the ramp to announce his decision about the World Heavyweight Title. He called Triple H, Chris Benoit and Edge down to the ring.
Quarter Hour 9
Triple H came out with Batista and Flair, and Bischoff said hed asked him to come alone. Triple H said Evolution had more wins than anyone and the champ should be a winner.
He could have given the belt to Benoit or Edge. But his third choice was for an Elimination Chamber to take place at New Years Revolution on January 9, 2005. The title would remain vacant until that time. It would be Benoit vs. Edge vs. Triple H vs. Chris Jericho vs. Batista vs. Randy Orton. When Batistas name was announced the jaws of both Triple H and Flair dropped. With all the competitors standing in the ring, a fight broke out when Bischoff left. Triple H started to leave, but ran into Orton on the ramp, who began to punch Triple H, then threw him into the ring. Orton started to give Triple H an RKO, but Batista interrupted, so Orton RKOd him instead. As the show ended, Triple H was headed up the ramp and Orton was pointing to him. Maybe Triple H ought to go back and read a few chapters of Making the Game before that big match.
Only three matches on this show, but it was a good one nonetheless.
