Arthur will never do it, but we need to start dropping peaheats like Norman. As long as the backup puts effort in, it’ll be infinitely better. Salmon is probably not ready, but may as well chuck him in and see what happens

The only bloke who played poorly was Jennings, and he's usually one of our best players. We have been mostly shit this year but in this game we were just very unlucky. We also panicked a bit after conceding that third try, and went right away from the game plan.

He hasn’t offered enough to warrant anything more than the average 1st grade wage ($250-$300k) since he has come into 1st grade. If he’s on more than that I’d be looking to shop him around.

A year or more ago people were criticising him but I think @oldmancraigy dug up his stats and they were pretty impressive, especially for one so young. But I agree he's not having a good trot of late, and was bad tonight.

The clear issue for me is Norman. Everytime he touches the ball our set completely breaks down.
Either passing too early without playing direct first, setting up inside balls to forwards over and over, or taking usless hit ups with no threat whatsoever.
He continually kills our attack.
What a waste of talent this bloke turned out to be.

The thing with Peni is, and always has been, yeah, there's mistakes in him but he will always, ALWAYS, have a crack. A bit like Moses. He won't ever run half hearted like Tep or Matagi or f**king Kane Evans will.

Norman is playing a different game than the rest of the team IMO I don't know WTF is going on there but like I said earlier in the thread, the season is over now, I'd throw Salmon in the 6 next week. 2 defensively suspect halves I know, but like I say, the season is over, let's give Salmon a chance and see if he sinks or swims...

Not at 11am it won't be... It's magic weekend in ISP, all games played at Newtown over Saturday and Sunday. Anyone who's in the Henson Park vicinity should get along and take in a couple of games. There's worse ways to spend a Saturday arvo than sitting in the winter sun sinking a dozen or so cans watching some rugby league...
