I’m not so sure mate. We had 55% possession, won the penalty count 11-7, had an opponent sin binned, made 50 less tackles and made almost 400 more metres. Yet we still fell short. We have major problems when we can’t score points with that much possession and can’t defend points when we shouldn’t be overly fatigued.
What dangerous players do our halves have to feed the ball too?
Jennings looks sluggish. Taka is beast but plays more like a forward/centre.
We have very little out wide when it comes to power, skill and speed.
Its concerning. You need 4 or 5 weapons. BA didnt know Jennings form would dip and Hayne been busted. That would of been 2 along with Taka in 2nd row and hoping Tepai had a break through year. There is 4 weapons right there.
The you have T rex, Ke, Bevan and Guth who can chime in. 2 are gone for year and the other 2 are doing little.
The forwards are going forward. We have no weapons. None. Halves are frustrated cause no they have none and so are losing patience. 4 or 5 times I saw big holes tonight and our guys ran stright into there men rather then open eyes and go for the hole.
