I think a lot of this has to do with our best young players being poached during the dynasty years. I’m sure tonight the club would’ve loved to have rolled out the likes of Katoa, Iongi, R Smith, Hopgood, Salmon, Hosking etc.

They have good players they could be developing right now that are being held back by these guys who will be career reserve graders. And not just held back from first grade but cup also. Jansen Edgar should be the cup fullback, not Daine. Lamont and Cole the halves. Billy Phillips has to be the cup lock, he should been playing against the knights instead of dog shit huth. Once we get players back from origin guys like Phillips and Edgar will get forced back to flegg by these dud journeymen.

We are still picking Schneider on the bench over much better players. Cole or sommerton has to be the 14.
