Potter lost that game on Tuesday for us. Souths with the shittest backline in the comp the game was always going to be won in the forwards. Potter then picks our lightest bench all year. Dumb dumb dumb

I agree. His only excuse is that perhaps Luani can't play 80 min but there had to be more big men selected

To give an idea my team would be

1. Tedesco
2. Koriobete
3. Nofoloma
4. Simona
5. Richards
6. Austin
7. Brooks
13. Sue
12. Thompson
11. Sironen
10. Woods
9. Farah
8. Galloway

14. Gavet 15. Taupau 16. Ava 17. Halatau or Lovett

if one of our starting props were injured I wouldn't start Taupau, we need him off the bench. I am worried Galloway is going downhill. It may be time to blood Brown.

Good side but you won't see a team like this until 2015

Well i said lawrence played shit tonight mac. You seem insistent on trying to make me defend him so you can have an argument.

I do not & have not ever given a flying f**k if anyone agrees with my opinion or not. You have made that assumption. If you want to believe your imagination, then theres nothing i can say or do to change it.

But he has been shit or at best average all year and u have used excuses such as who is defending with him or the balls offloaded to him , havnt u not ? Im just debating what you have put forward .

Is Koro really the saviour? I mean has he learnt how to catch a bomb and defend?

What's the point of scoring two try's and letting in three.

Come on !!! Have u watched his state cup form ?
Anyway its not always about a players negatives but the overall balance to the side.

I have raised a few incidents that you lot blamed him for which weren't entirely his fault,. I have not excused him from all or even most of his errors.

I have not come out once this year & said he has played great.

You tend to ignore that.

3 incidents tonight;

1. Seemed to misjudge timing to leap to catch bomb that led to Souffs first try.

2. Pushed over side line in own half after a lengthy team defending effort and Souffs scored next set of 6.

3. Dropped the ball cold 10 metres out from Souffs line in the 2nd half when desperate for points.

Yep, as mentioned the whole team played poorly tonight, and there was no way they were going to win the game, but f**k me, all 3 of those above were terrible plays....

Can we read anything into the fact that the captain was replaced?
Maybe no hopefully, Potter actually noticed how bad he was/is. Hence the minutes Austin had.

I might be shot down for this but here goes, is Siro there based on his potential/his name/the fact that NSW selector Fulton said from the moment he played 1st grade that Siro will play for Australia ?

For me, he either plays 5/8 or gets more game time in the NSW Cup he just doesn't put his body on the line like the Pacific Islanders.

Austin had an abysmal attempt at tackle that lead to a Souths try as well.

Anasta isolated himself outside the ballrunner that created the gap for another Souths try from the scrum (stupidly, Lawrence was defending inside Anasta)

Communication was shithouse

Sironen hasn't played enough back row to understand the role properly.

Yes MU I agree and believe he should be the 5/8.

That allows the bigger and more experienced guys to play in the back row. Look at the team posted by glockers on the previous page, move Siro to 5/8 and replace him with Blair. Then that team looks even better IMO

Having money on Nofoaluma, I was hoping and praying they would pass it to the left in that first batch of field position we got.

However... it appears that considering Anasta controls that side of the field, Luani is reluctant to ever pass it to him! Whenever Joel looked from dummy half to see Anasta on his right and Brooks on his left, he passed to Brooks every time.

There is a clear lack of trust in his abilities from the whole team, and it is really killing us. We need a half as competent as Brooks to feed both sides of the field good clean ball.

1. This is what happens when no one runs blocking lines to protect kick receivers. All the good teams do this, but we don't.

2. This also happened to Simona. I thought it was particularly poor from Simona since he'd already seen Souths do this twice.

3. That was just heartbreaking stuff but he was wasn't Robinson Crusoe when it came to knocking on tonight. I think there was one ball in each half that actually hit Lawrence on the chest.

Overall I think it was a pretty woeful performance across the park and there wouldn't be many blokes that could hold their head up after that game.

I like the Sironen to 5/8 idea. Austin isn't there yet, but Anasta needs to go.

Richards could have had a better game last night - nobody seems to have mentioned him yet.

I'll be honest and say no.

But I did see a game for the cutters where Matt Groat looked like first grade material.....

The telling thing was that Simona got put out over the left wing.

That is how far he had to go looking to actually get the ball
