For being away from the game for 2 years I think he showed he hasn't really lost too much!
I do agree though, I don't think he was worth changing what the Titans were building as a club. Looks like Hoffman and Mead will be leaving at the end of the year, two of there better backs all year.
I hope we offer either of them a contract for next year.

As for injury history, in his last three years here Hayne missed 24 games.

After the way our last two big money contracted players have finished with us (Hayne and Foran) the more I think the more I'm glad we didn't get Haybe and disrupt the plan BA has in place.
Keep building the squad the way we are going is a much better idea.

One says 800k ... though i could have sworn it was claimed to be 1m when it was renogotiated ... but who knows with our rubber cap

I reckon it will be Norman when he re-signs (about $800k). But right now it's probably Jennings on about $500k-$600k

I'm really starting to think that the NRL needs to publish player salaries (at least the ones under the cap), The NFL does it, a little transparency wouldn't hurt.. Or then again, it might too..

I think he only signed with the Titans because he wanted to play this year for a team capable of making the Top 8. I doubt he's thought any further ahead at this stage of this actually being a 5-9 week deal.

I do. Parra has rocks in their head if they try to sign him again.

Not a sour grapes thing, but now that he's done with us, we need to be done with him.

We need to stop pinning all our hopes and dreams on Hayne. He's a great player, there's no doubt about that, but I severely doubt we'll ever see him blue & gold again. And part of me doesn't think we should.

He's not fulfilled his last two contracts, at Parra and 49ers, why do you think he will suddenly start now?

To clarify, I also don't believe he will come back to Parra.

Someone offered him more money in Sydney for next season...I suggest that team wasn't playing Finals this year.

nope, he was signed till the end of 2018, He left early. Although I think (not sure, others will know better) when he was waived mid season, that might have cancelled that contract term.. but again, I don't know how that works..
