I will be interested to how the Titans go for the rest of the season. They've got themselves a genuine match winner in The Plane, but they've also got themselves a genuine distraction that none of these players would realistically be used to.

I had them in the Top 8 for sure a week ago.

Yeah. Clearly still got it but the combinations will take time. Just stick him at fullback is IMO best option.

Just like when he was with us, Hayne might have all the individual talent in the world but can't direct a game or drive a team to win a game.

Yep, they're gone for 2016 with the unecessary distraction of trying to accomodate Jarryd.

Titans don't even know what position they want to play him in their structure... what a f**k up today was for them. Lost a valuable two points, and no longer finals-bound.

I guess they were more focussed on "building something special" in 2017-18, and a quick cheap gate takings boost from this week's hype?

Probably ... though they have a decent set of outside backs and mead is ok at fullback

I reckon they need him at 5/8th but his fitness probably isnt up to it

I agree with you he won't last the distance of his contract (he never seems to care about that), but he'd have to at least put in for one complete season to not totally wreck his "brand"?

My hate? I'm a massive fan of The Plane. I just don't think he's deal with the Titans is for the long term and I don't think really he's planned it to be that way. To him it's a 5-9 week deal.

I will be interested to see what the fans of the Titans think about the signing of The Plane though if they end up missing the Top 8. with a team that was good things to make the Top 8.

I think he only signed with the Titans because he wanted to play this year for a team capable of making the Top 8. I doubt he's thought any further ahead at this stage of this actually being a 5-9 week deal.
