Anyway, conceded a few more points than I'd like, but their tries were either very slick bits of play or broken play after Edwards dropped a bomb. With the ball we were great. Clinical and dominant. Cleary looked back to pretty close to his best which is a great sign. Our middle was outstanding, Leota and Paps in particular. Good tune up prior to the actually important games.

I hate that utility seems to be about covering 9 over everything else.
Laurie covers the half’s better than Schneider, covers fullback and at a push the wing.
I would also rather see Alamoti on the bench than not in the squad, I’m fine with him at 14.
Fangs is right though, we all know Schneider will be there, he has sucked all year but Ivan won’t change it now.

Alamoti need’s to be in the 17, sorry Milky. Schneider needs to be dropped awful. Patea needs to be in as an X factor. If we are going to carry a 14, at least carry a decent one. If an injury occurs just deal with it on the run don’t carry someone just in case.
Schneider has proven to be a passenger at all times except 1 game against the Roosters last year, enough of that hack. He is going to cost us a game and it is now sudden death. Cole or Soni Luke for mine in then 14.
