Takeaways:

Edwards - what a knock. Amazing run meters, defence and overall leadership from the back. The glue to the defensive system.

Yeo - amazing knock. Massive motor. Lead from the front all night. Put in a big shift for tonight’s game.

Luai - arguably the man of the match. Troubled the Roosters defence everytime he had the ball. Dictated terms with his left step and shimmy.

Garner, Smith and Henry - really held their own defensively. Did so much off the ball work. Absolute priceless.

Leota - he was tremendous from the front. So much energy with every hit up and covered fantastically in defence.

Turuva & To’o - put in a shift with their carries and scramble at the back.

Schneider - looked like he had time everytime he ran the ball. Had the Roosters in 6s and 7s not knowing to attack him or let him take that extra step.

Ending - sloppy defence and discipline in the last 10 minutes. Game should have never come this close. I’m sure Ivan will be absolutely ropable at that finish. Tago also scored that try, he put that ball down.

Great win after so many tipped against us with no Cleary. They forgot who’s still there! Dylan, Yeo, Leota, Turuva, To’o etc Schneider was solid with Luai in the halves.
Never get tired of beating the Rorters!

One of the best wins I've seen.
Tago surely scored. Roosters bounced the ball. 28-0 it should of been. The scoreline doesn't reflect the game.
I thought Lindsay Smith was huge tonight. Tackled everything and some great charges.

Pleasantly. The scoreline didn't reflect the game. It was a shut out basicaly. A good lesson for Turuava with that poor dropped ball

Very professional performance. Had them in our patented chokehold for the vast majority of the game and only some low percentage ad lib footy and a dud call from the officials made the scoreline close.

Sick of hearing how hard done they were too. The Manu no try was a 50/50, but Maria stopped right in Edwards line and f**k him anyway for trying to rip Martin's arm off. Then throw in the joke of a try on half time and a mountain of piggy back penalties giving them the only field position they could muster and it more than evens out.

Cant stand the Roosters and this streak is an amazing timeline. Long may it continue.
