Unless it pisses down on GF day whose beating Melbourne at full-strength honestly.

Your only hope is what happened to the Dragons the other week and you get them on a wet day where it takes away there explosive offence & speed and it becomes a grind and a bit of a lottery.

2 x Dry tracks and they have racked up 104 points and both games they pulled off Hughes early and Papenhuyzen came off with 20 to go yesterday.

They could have scored another 2-3 tries.

The Smith/Cronk/Slater era loved the wet and were impossble to beat but i reckon this crop

Grant/Munster/Hughes/Papenhuzyen ain't as accomplished in it.

I still remember that wet night at Commbank stadium we beat them a few years back and the wet track took away there quick ball movement, speed on the flanks & ability to spread the ball.

If all their players are fit they win the GF this year.

The Dogs defend well but they have no attack.

Sharks are rubbish if you put pressure on them through defence as the dogs showed.

Penrith I think have finally succumbed to their success.

Souths if all their players are fit could be a smokey Latrell looks fit and happy.

The only team giving the Storm a game will be the Broncos if they are fully fit.

Some might even say they are closer to a premiership than us.

We never built a side that was going to take it out or a legitimate chance. We only one got pass the 2nd week of finals once in last 15yrs.
We where generally the 6th best side in comp. 2022 we got hammered twice by the Riff. Never a chance

Deff favourites but
Maybe Brisbane
Dogs defence may frustrate them
Manly minus turbo still put on 24

I reckon Dogs not having a half back will hurt them come crunch time. Especially against the better sides in tight matches.

What is interesting is that the Dogs don't seem to miss a beat without Burton?

Actually beat them both games during the season but no match for them in the finals.

2012 was one of the most boring GFs of the modern era on par with 2022.

James Graham biting Billy slater was the only excitement in that whole game.

I hope so but the defense is rocking sides. They have energy and will to win. They'll take some beating. Storm has the class but add Hughes, Burton and Kikau and this side is going to give it a shake
