MON went into to bat saying how good Rogers was as list manager, wouldn’t even make him a lift manager at Myers. We just don’t have the ability in recruiting to build properly, been that way since the current people have been in position. An observation that’s playing out currently.

Everyone's tipping a big year for us. The squad is fine. We've just had a bad game, like last year.

There was a lot of circumstances where things didn't go our way tonight, but you can still learn alot about your level of resilience capabilities. We failed in this regard.

You could see this result coming at half time and I predicted we'd do well to keep them to under 50 then. We were lucky Grant got injured or it probably would've been more than 60.

It's all very well to be able to perform when there is no pressure on you, but if you can't deliver when it matters then you're destined to be making up the numbers towards the bottom of the ladder. The only player missing from our best 17 is the Foxx. He wouldn't have made a lot of difference tonight.

I didn't even know Simonsson was playing until he got sin binned. Seriously that was the only thing he did all night.

One player from the interchange getting 10 minutes, and two players getting less than 20 is just pure f**ken dumb and that's on the coaching staff. An utter cluster f**k.

Have we improved greatly in 12 months. The scoreline would indicated not really.

I thought we'd struggle to make the 8 before the season starts, but I'm certain we'll struggle now.

I've got the Storm missing the Top 8 too, so I'm not sure what that says for where we are. It could be a long season ahead.
