Honestly ive got no issue with losing but its the way we lost. We played like the team first half of last year. Not the team that won a bunch of games to end the season that had effort and completed well.

Coaches could've put someone back on for the last 10 minutes of the first half who had already played, meaning we could've used Tuivati instead of Papali'i.

Coaches also chose to use two other interchange players for less than 20 minutes.

Use of the bench is about tactics and adaptability, not leadership. We lost because we didn't respect possession, and our senior players let it happen.

I will say this...he will overtake Ryley Smith..big call. Ryley is all heart and effort but TDS is quick, quite skilful and can play eyes up footy.
TDS will be ok.

Kelly + Pezet together was fkn enough to make my eyes bleed. Im sure with JAC back itll make that side look a lot better though

A fair way into the second half the stat was that Melbourne had a single offload, and yet they were already 20 or 30 points up. Goes to show that playing hot potato isn’t worth much if you’re turning it over consistently.

TDS has got a much higher ceiling than Ryley, who I think won’t ever really be better than average. But I also don’t know whether we can have both in the playing 17.

Also I doubt TDS will ever reach (paint?) that ceiling he supposedly has. So it may as well not exist, and we should send him to sleep under the stars whenever we find someone else that can play dummy half to bring into the 30.

He may or may not, time will tell. But he’s absolutely good enough to be given time.

KitKat was okay. Todays game reminded me of when he first started last season. Had good pockets of strong runs but felt like he gassed out early so ended up progressively worse as the game went on. Im still relatively positive on him and hes still young
