It’s classic Parra - just f**king dumb. It was there for the taking and they bombed it.
I’m pretty used to it by now. I’m sure we all are. Looking forward to Galvin in for Brown, assuming that is happening. It might not feel it tonight but I think we are headed in the right direction.

Did we have any forwards in the last 20 minutes? Twice we made 13 meters in an entire set coming off our try line. Were were our leaders out there??

It was in patches we barely got out of their own half, at one stage Moses was kicking from our own 10m. Simply no go forward and I think Tuivati wouldve been handy tonight.

That's the difference with the two sides, they had more forward momentum out of their own end.

But anyway my take on the game.

We were too sideways when going wide no one straightened the line so the defense could easily slide.

When we did look dangerous was long passes to counter their compressed defence.

Their line speed was big for them and we didn't offer much and made their night pretty easy.

Our defense was terrible no line speed we took 2 steps forward and waited for them to go past the advantage line.

Riley Smith needs to put the kick away I think the opposition have scored the last few times from it.

One thing out of that he was the only one chasing and you could see he was frustrated that's where you need the second rowers to be putting in..

Moses was fine again he can't do it all on how own though we have a rookie fullback and hooker they will get better but if an experience player for those positions come up I would take it.

Hopgood is useless sorry to all his fans but he hasn't offered anything in the past 2 seasons.

Same as Williams bench player at best.

Walker needs to start at lock.

Doorey great try loved it wish we could do that more.

So you replace him with who? Joash?? Isn’t he a rookie?
Let’s face it, when we needed our senior players to front up they didn’t. Paulo had his worst game in a while. Williams did very little. Our line speed was f**king atrocious. Don’t even get me started on Hopgood and Guymer.
Moses looked a little clunky at times and Brown looks a million dollars 1 minute and $1.50 the next. Riley Smith shouldn’t be playing 80 at this stage of his career.
Williams overrated another poor signing like Simrani. Sign reserve graders, come last! Jim’s motto.

Shitcanning Iongi is wild :D Like I know we all get upset when we lose but that kid isn’t to blame one iota.
Well he's made a truckload of errors across all games..the rot started tongiht when Ryley Smith put in that terrible kick and Ionghi dropped a ball with no pressure on him..
Ryles can't punt him because he signed him...
I think Papalii may actually be better.
Anyways no point punting players like Ryles has done if you haven't got better players to replace them. This is on him. Plus his assistants...an assistant who has a putrid record for a coach..
@Avenger can you enter an Assistant coach or coaches to your shit list?
Smith can't play 80 yet.
How Guymer and Russell are in 1st grade is beyond a joke.
Kautoga also lucky to be there
Hopgood continues to regress.
Jack Williams tries but saw him miss a few tackles tonight by arm grabbing.
Felt like we started playing poorly once Jnr, Hopgood and Williams came back on..
I honestly don't know what's changed since last year and what Ryles has brought to the table?
We are worse than last yr...
The lack of experience is showing..
The genuine 1st graders recruited ie Walker and JAC are pretty much the best or better players...the others are struggling..
AND way on earth should Moses be picked for origin...he can't play left and realistically has done jack in the last 2 games...

Obvious points from the game

Too small in the forwards ,didn’t make a real dent and that seemed why we went wide early, signing reserve graders and bench players ends up with what you see currently.

Dylbro is missing something in his game, he’s just not there at the moment

Penisini is a runner as a centre, if he doesn’t develop a passing game, how long can he stay at right enter.

Guymer is not big enough currently, Hopgood is not a bash forward and it shows now he seems to have put away his creative side.

The management need to understand that to play with the big boys, you need to spend on elite players and use the cap around them. Moneyball is a theory that has never worked in the NRL.Crucial time for the R&R team, stand up or stand aside, negotiate with the elite , sign at least 2 to 3, if that’s not done , move on.
