I think Sam, jacs, walker were goodSamrani was my player of the match was really good. Took a nice intercept on our line.
I actually think defensively, Russell was good but is clueless in attack.

His football IQ is garbage.
You guys are talking about him like he’s the second coming of Hayne. He’s got tonnes of raw talent and may well become an extremely good fullback. But thus far in first grade, he’s been average.Wow you are seriously watching a different game. He is virtually our only back who poses any threat. Mate Gutho dropped plenty of kicks and failed to clean up kicks in goal on several occasions. Iongi is a gun but you have made up your mind so refuse to see beyond that.
I agree that he’s got huge potential. His actual output so far in first grade has been average. I hope he develops and ends up being a superstar - it’s entirely possible he could. But his actual performances so far haven’t been great. I’m not sure how that’s such a controversial statement, other than that people are conflating potential with output. The anti-Iongi thoughts from Dave Mc is the most extraordinary thing I am taking away from this game
He is by FAR the most exciting player we have in the side right now and his potential is HUGE.
To say he has been ordinary is mind-boggling.
Lets hope Dave Mc is not charge of recruitment because he is a crap judge of talent. Wow!
Everyone can have their opinions, but doesn't mean their opinions have any merit. Some people believe the earth is flat, that is as stupid as thinking Iongi is ordinary .... okay maybe not![]()
What is it you actually want him to do more of? He has scored some nice individual tries and been involved in many more. His kick diffusing under pressure last night was excellent and he has saved numerous tries. I would take him over Gutho any day. You are talking rubbish mate.I agree that he’s got huge potential. I honestly think we just fundamentally disagree then, which is fair enough. What is it you actually want him to do more of? He has scored some nice individual tries and been involved in many more. Absolutely, Gutherson took time to grow into the role, and got pushed around to different spots for us before settling at fullback. I kinda wish we’d have kept Gutho for this year to mentor Iongi as he grows into the role, but ultimately that’s not how things played out, and that’s just the way it is. I think Iongi has buckets of raw talent, seems to have a good attitude, and could end up being very good - but his performances so far haven’t been great. You know who wasn't Clint Gutherson in their first year with us? Clint Gutherson. It took him a while to find his feet in first grade but once he did he became a very good player. I see similar traits in Iongi. He has a drop in him, he overplays his hand sometimes but he isn't hiding away from the ball nor is he not trying in defence.
These other things will come with experience, what doesn't come with experience is willingness to be around the football. Both Gutherson and Iongi share that mental trait.
We have 2 million missing from our forward pack with Matto, Lane, Offa, Cartwright and GreigGutho was labeled Gunco on the forum for his first season with us.
He played on the wing and struggled in a much stronger side. Iongi is playing behind a shit pack and constantly under pressure. Yeah he had some bonehead plays in him but he's played 11 games FFS!!
He's not the problem, the problem is Bea Arthur's stooges chewing up cap space and providing absolutely zero.
From the little I know they are all under the same management group of our ex coach.. Probably a coincidence they were extended on decent terms past their best use by date.Gutho was labeled Gunco on the forum for his first season with us.

I rest my case. Gutho was a gun young player when he came to us and on here he was bagged mercilessly even though many could see he had something. Same with Iongi. It's ridiculous. We are lucky to have him.Gutho was labeled Gunco on the forum for his first season with us.

The Orr's aren't any better than Moses, i've heard some horror stories about these pricks. From the little I know they are all under the same management group of our ex coach.. Probably a coincidence they were extended on decent terms past their best use by date.
Get the errors out of his gamee. The drop ball to score is laziness and lost in focus. He was looking at the try line probably thinking celebration. What is it you actually want him to do more of? Lol we see the same thing. The last thing is he isnt as smart as guthoI honestly think we just fundamentally disagree then, which is fair enough.
His kick defusing hasn’t been great for mine, he’s good for at least one drop a game, and last night it cruelled us. He tends to overplay his hand at times, and he’s got some silly errors in him. I don’t think his defence has been great, and the biggest difference between him and Gutherson has been the organisation of the defensive line. And you’ve a very short memory if you’re fair dinkum saying he’s a better player than Gutho at this point.
As I’ve said multiple times, I hope the short-term pain in playing Iongi now is worth it longer term when he gets more experience and hopefully irons out some of his flaws. But it’s still a punt, and we won’t know if it’ll have been worth it for some time.

He always throw a speculator pass rach game that goes over the sideline. He doesn't have to be a hero. Backup the forwards more especially the offloaders and walker
He was Edward's understudy, Edwards have very little errors in his game
Let the experienced guys do the fancy stuff mises, drown, jacs, walker. He doesnt have to be a hero
