If some people are carrying on over losing to the Chooks well, what can you say. They are a great team who beat us in a great game. We may not win the competition but just calm TF down. Supporting our team isn’t easy, but isn’t that the romance?
We’ll be there come finals (probs above Roosters) and we’ve proven this year we can win big games.
Relax. Enjoy the game or pick another sport following a team guaranteed or winning every 5 years or so.

Matto is our best forward at the moment, and it came from him asking the coach to play in the middle. What does that say about the coach and his staff?? f**king clueless, we’ll lose Matto nothing sure and we stuck with an ageing pack.

I really hope you’re wrong Hiney. I would give NBrown the opportunity to explore his options. We shouldn’t keep Matto at any cost, but he has been a revelation over the last month with the change and we should go hard to retain him

If people think we are a well coached team they are watching a different game than me, chasing the collisions, effort areas and some Parra ball won’t win us a comp. 9 seasons and same old same old. We got back to 1 point, had all the momentum and then squibbed it.

Can we do a settler on the 4th FFS..

Does a seven point loss to one of the better teams (they are as good on paper as we are ffs) mean we can't win the comp this year? The Panthers lost last week to an inferior team. It's just one game ffs. What matters is the finals, and we just need three or four weeks of effort and a bit of luck.

While I'd like to believe this is possible I don't think we're capable of achieving that objective for this season. Couple of things, Parra's record and our ability to grab the mediocre straw when the greatness straw is within grasp shows no sign of abating. I've never been one to bag any Eels player or coach to great extent on here but I think it's time for some changes to personnel in both areas.

Brown is a Bea fav, just like Gutho. They get what they want. No matter who we lose.

Brown can come off the bench as far as I'm concerned. Matto should have 13 on his back. Nothing surer. Brown's best doesn't go match Matto's. Brown would be best for us coming off the bench, off the back fence and providing energy..something makatoa and Kaufusi can't and don't do.
Nuikore, Brown, Greig and Carty is a much more potent bench..
