I’m so pumped for the footy today we had loads of family stuff yesterday. The rain is falling heavily over the sea, just cracked my second beer and the 2kg Yearling Beef Roast will be slipping into the oven at 3pm. No doubt there will be some good footy and I plan to boo Ezra from my couch.

Life is good today.

Sloan with possibly the dumbest captains challenge you’ll ever see and it’s embarrassing some of the obvious forward passes that get missed

How soft is the comp this year

It's deadset storm bulldogs and sharks that are contenders this year
Sharks are entirely frauds imo. They have nothing when it matters.

if everyone is fit with all the experience they have - the comp is melbournes to lose.

I'm not so sure.
Anyone can beat anyone on any given day.
This has been the most exciting, unpredictable season that I can remember for a long time, and I have seen so many fantastic, exciting matches with comebacks from the ages.
RL has never been better to watch.
That Broncos/Dragons game is a perfect example.

I agree mate. I know as much as I loved the 90’s games and legends, we are living in the best era for quality games, coverage and content by a country mile.

Also, the massive increase in match day attendance and television viewers is testament to what a quality product we now have.
It wasn't that long ago that personally I lost complete interest due to all the bad shite that had crept into the game (wrestling for example). I would only ever watch Eels games.

V'Landy's has come in and absolutely turned the sport on it's head.
Stadiums are fuller than ever and the interest in the game has never been higher.
It's exciting times.

Any update on the roast thanks Stevie…
