I’m particularly impressed with our defence tonight. A couple of lapses out on our right edge early in the game but they found a way to fix that deficiency.

Was expecting us to let in a soft late try at the end but they never game up even though the win was secured.

Next two weeks will be difficult up against Panthers and Dogs but I’m hoping we can at least keep improving our defence even if we don’t come away with the wins in those games. I’m hoping those massive lasses we copped early in the year are long gone from our season now.

It'd be hard to qualify but I reckon JAC was talking to Papalii at half time about positioning and spacing. He's been incredible for our young backs this year. He may only be here for 2, hopefully 3 years, but he'll be one of the best wingers we've had at the club purely because what he can teach the young guys.

Tonight showed the opposition backup half's father couldn't coach for shit.
One game never says anything about anyone. If you think it does it's because you're seeking confirmation of your bias.
We had a bunch of no names and inexperience put a experienced side to the sword with a FB on his day is the most devastating player on the planet.
So maybe Manly just weren't up for it? They smashed us eight weeks ago, had a big win in Townsville last weekend and were probably looking to next week. Missing their two leaders can't have helped.
Its the best regular season win we have had since 2009 under Daniel Anderson.

And it wasn't that we won it was the ruthlessness and professionalism we showed i haven't seen in a long time.
We have beaten better teams than a leaderless Manly since 2009. But I agree this was a good win.

Other than a ton of train cancellations that stuffed me up, was a great night 😍

Sent 3 of my Manly mates packing 🤙

The two tries against us down our right side was when JA was off doing the HIA
Both tries were calculated, sharp and slick, our right side was in for a very long night

For some reason Manly went away from that, the odd time they tried they couldn't execute
Their tactics were poor

TomT is playing injured. Never wanted to have a gallop, preferred to tuck the ball under the armpit for a hitup

Great team win, but not getting carried away. Manly had quite a few of their key forwards out and we know matches are won there. We went through them easily in the middle, where it was won.

Crowd was disappointing , bad weather for a couple of days and train transport unpredictability, particular from flooding in the west probably the issue

Bring on the Ruff, beat them and sets up a huge season re-match vs the Dogs

What a bloody fantastic performance. I can’t recall a time we have played that well without Moses. Punching holes through their middle and edges, more energy and intent.

keeping their speed and attacking class at bay to only 10 points all scored against a rookie centre/wing combo was fantastic.

I’d argue that’s our best performance in 12 months

Just wanted to say, very few performances make me that proud. I did t think we had a chance, especially with the Origin players out.

A great performance. We punched holes through that Manky defence. What was really pleaseing was those line breaks. Finally some hard line / whole running.

Every player did so well.
