Not sure how we put in such a great score with a handbrake in our spine. Api being back made such a huge change. Our halves have more space and time with him.

Yeh Aekins was terrible not making an error, taking every bomb & saving tries on our line. So shit. Ffs give it a rest & stop looking for every reason to shit on a player, a replacement player at that.

JFH & Tamou handling AFB in that first 20 went a long way to getting us over the line. Tamou especially was fantastic again in that first stint.

Smashed them through the middle, burnt them out wide.
Cleary is better every game.
The bench was perfect.
Spencer was huge, Tetevano really solid.
Crichton’s low tackles on Suli were obviously planned and effective, and Naden and May really were great.

Not quite Edwards, but Aekins is a back-up fullback and played well, as he did last week.

He killed the attack with every touch. Including a dummy half run off an intercept with no defenders around. It takes a special kind of shit to bomb a try in that situation and he manages to do so.

Bombing tries is the worst error you can make short of throwing intercept s that lead to them. We're just lucky we didnt didnt need a good fullback to win tonight.
