I read somewhere that Kenny's shoulder is hanging by a thread. Is this is the case, Sommerton should be on the bench.

Riley Wake has jumped Billy Scott in the pecking order?

I'm half expecting Schneider back on that bench. Cleary is gonna experience some heavy contact tonight. But I'd rather we keep giving the younger guys a go.

Jack Cole is also on the extended bench, so hopefully that may be the end of Schneider. Not sure what anyone sees in him. He was supposed to be some tackling machine, but was far from that against Newcastle. I saw more of a turnstile.

Cole got 5 starts in the 6. Schneider hasn't had as many starts but I've seen enough. He just isn't creating points for us and Tailagi caught a cold against Newcastle. I'm ready to try something new even if its orthodox. We are last and our back ups aren't working.

Though doubtful Cole is seen as a 7 option. Ivan said after the Melbourne game we were playing with two five-eighths.

If the Kenny injury rumour is true I'm wondering about Riley Wake. Haven't seen him play but listed as backrow and hooker. Thinking he might be the guy.

None should play. Ivan is already risking Yeo's last few years with how he's grinding him into the dirt.
Rest them all except Marto because he needs to pull his finger out

4 day turn around. I can imagine the origin players are desperate to play.......It's up to the players and coaching staffs. It wouldn't shock me if they back up. Especially since they are all listed in the team sheet.

They'll all want to play but Ivan needs to be smarter

Why do we sign players like Diaz he couldn’t crack wests fg during the last 3 years. I don’t understand how we can loose Hosking and retain Riki and Eisenhuff then sign Diaz.
Pillage is a good word, late 60s early 70s Souths were best team of that era. Mostly local juniors and kids from the country(sound familiar). Got pillaged by Manly Easts and others didn’t win another premiership for 37years. Fortunately we don’t have money problems just an inability to use it wisely.

You need a few experienced players in the lower grades to guide the young blokes coming through. They might not be NRL standard but most aren't on much.
Riki would be on minimum wage.

Dias isn't even in the top 30. He is on a trial and train contract.

I disagree. To stop Penrith getting the spoon, or even maybe a chance to get into the 8......if fit these players should play. Closing up shop now (in my opinion) is giving up.
You'd shorten the careers of our stars and a chance to win more comps in 2026-27 to limp into the 8?

We shouldn't even need those players to beat Parra or Newcastle last week, the knights loss is on Ivan really

To'o has had multiple hamstring strains/injuries this year.

Edwards has had recently. Groin strains and hamstring tightness.
It would be silly and high risk to play him and To'o.

Nathan had multiple hamstring injuries last year. We should be very cautious with him.

Yeo looks tired.

If they play Origin, Play the Eels and then play the Tigers. That will be 3 games in 11 days.

Rest them and play them fresh against the Tigers.

All of them back up. No choice really.

It's game II that's the concern. If anyone backs up for that then God will need to enter the room to avoid injuries.
