Barlow, Reg, Matto and Lane in particular in the 1st outstanding.
Just shows when you turn up with the right attitude, intensity and desire anything is possible.
This team can play. The real test is can BA and co have them up mentally for every game here on in.
We have shown we can beat every team.
Just how much more do we want it is the real question.
When Barlow plays like a leader and a front rower not a halfback it makes a world of difference.
When Gutho is looking to be involved very early that also makes a massive difference.
I expected nothing less tonight. However some of our tries were nothing short of sublime.
Kudos to BA and the team. I'm quick to criticise when they have delivered a shit sandwich like Monday but also quick to praise after a fantastic performance like tonight. Massive change to how he has used the interchange in the past.
Onwards and upwards...go the mighty Eels

Agree to disagree but I think there is a disproportionate focus on the coach.

But more importantly - I bought a 4-pack of 4 Pines Cold IPA the other day. Didn't rate it. Probably because it took a year to make it up here and wasn't fresh.

Immense effort in the forwards - much improved, and good to even up the balance against the Roosters with a win.

But the question remains... can this lot and BA and associates stay motivated and apply consistent effort in every game - rather then turn in rubbish efforts like against Tigers, Cowboys, Bulldogs?

We played pretty controlled in the second half

Everyone played strong.

If you don't have faith in Rodwell to be on the field until the game is virtually over then don't pick him. The same goes for Makatoa and his only 8 minutes. Get Brown back in the team, at least he can play half a game if needed.

It's perplexing. I can't imagine using 15 (or even 16) players in a game is a sustainable tactic over the course of a long season? We wouldn't want our first choice forwards feeling cooked by the time their in the finals through lack of rotation relative to the opposition...

We just have to be consistent (well....consistently good) for the last 4 games of the season.

Yep, and a day or so ago he wasn't.
Mail was that we had reached our limit and he wasn't signing but I think we offered the extra year which was enough for him.
