Does anyone know why we never warm up on the field anymore? It is usually just our halves for 10 minutes. Is this a tactical thing?

I'd put as same level. Cleary being only 22 probably has more improvement left in him and capable of becoming elite. He may not ever get there.

Yeah and did you watch Moses kicking practice last Thursday night before the game? Dead set awful. Landed nothing and nothing changed when the game started. Im guessing if someone asked BA he would probably mention he spent most of the week on defence.

Mobile big bodies who wouldn't cost the earth I dont think

For experienced guys who could be good value and are off contract, James Tamou and Aiden Tolman possibly?

Cost is related to demand. Do you think there would be much demand for them? Relative to other positions, middle forwards are very expensive compared to back when Bennett refused to pay big money for them.

For experienced guys who could be good value and are off contract, James Tamou and Aiden Tolman possibly?

I would be looking at Lussick in addition to keeping Alvaro. Then try to look for a rough diamond cheapie who can play middle / edge (that replaces Peni / Gower) . Hughes is the rookie coming into the squad (replaces Stefo). Then we have 2 rookies on the fringe in Hollis / Grant (think that’s their names).

We also have taka/Davey off contract. Assuming we keep Davey, we may need to replace Taka. So we need to look for someone able to play edge / centre (or maybe just edge if we keep Salmon).

And with smith / field off contract (and taka / salmon), we may need to look for a back up half/full back (or was Rankin purchased for this reason, maybe he was to cheap to not refuse.....).

off yeah we don’t have a back up hooker on contract for 2021 either (hopefully stone stays) or a winger.

A lot of decisions / recruitment to come......
