We didnt need a 40/20. It was the 3rd tackle. Had we done 2 more charges we are kicking from around there 40mtrs. We may of had them pinned inside there 15.

His forward pass also cost us a try

Yeh and Timmy Mannah threw a forward pass for the first try and arguably we got a soft penalty for Nene taking out French before the Hayne try.

I've never sulked. I accepted after about 4 weeks into the season that this was just going to be one of those years.

The remainder of the season is all about working out who can provide us with something going forward for 2019. Whether we end up getting the two points in any given week for the rest of the year is fairly irrelevant.

The biggest question in regard to this game is why that group of players was only 10 in front with 7 to go against a team with very little drive and energy for 70 minutes, when we realistically should have been leading by at least 20 or even 30 by that stage.

Well the only thing relevant from today's game is things that can improve us for next year. Who cares if we didn't get two competition points. What good are they to us at this stage of the season?

Saints try was too close to over rule yet they did. If that happend to us we be furious.
Good performance and shows we do not need a whole new team.
They scored of 3 kicks. The first was assy and the last was equally assy.


The game did change with the Sims penalty. But when Moses kciked and Dufty ran 50mtrs also changed game. Had time again Moses runs it, they had a 4 on 2 and could of gone 30 mtrs before kicked....
