I'd say that a phone call was the 20th century version of a letter and an email (along with a text) is the 21st century version of a phone call.. It's even possible to argue that a telegram was the 19th century version of the letter and the phone call was a 20th century version of the telegram.

How do you know it was a shit call? How do you know king had given his all and had nothing left to give? There is no such thing as stupid questions just stupid answers and you are full of them. Still furious after that and to be honest I’m not sure why. I knew, as no doubt we all did, that we’d lose that game. There’s a soft underbelly running through the club and has done for 20 odd years. I have no idea what the answer is, but we live in hope I guess, that things will change.
