This is f**king pathetic. I got called an Iongi hater during the week. I don’t think that’s fair, but he’s genuinely miles behind Gutherson as a fullback at this point. He cannot, and does not, organise a backline defensive structure as Gutho does/did.

I really hope the short-term pain is worth it for us, because we’ve lost games this year where I have no doubt we’d have won with Gutho at the back. For his slow pace and the like, he’s probably still the best defensive fullback in the game.

You’ve obviously forgotten how shit our defence was when Gutherson was our fullback. We had heaps of games like this when he was an Eel.
