I was responding to Suitman who claimed I was harsh for putting the loss onto Lomax. Is that ok?

I agree with you on Hopgood Avenger and would be looking to replace him. The concern for me is how much cap is he taking up? And I think he is here til end of 26 at least.
I would like to see JDB and Paulo start as the two bookends with Williams moving to an edge.

Walker likely still has another season left in him beyond 2026. He’s clearly the superior footballer and brings far more value to our side than Hopgood. As for Hopgood, a comparison with peak Matterson really puts things into perspective—Matterson at his best was twice the player Hopgood is now. There’s just no real contest in terms of impact or overall contribution.

Poor coaching/selection. If he's a defender he should have been starting (or brought on at 20min) to improve some of the pathetic first half defensive patterns. Otherwise it was a wasted spot in teh 17 that could have been better utilised.

It's a game of two halves mate, we got trod on in the first half but outplayed them in the 2nd. Lomax doesnt force that pass, we win the game.

Every week when we lose, this place goes apeshit on a dropped ball by Williams, or Kelma, or Penisini and blames them deluxe.
This week, it's the 3rd tackle, we have just made a break, their defence is scattered and Lomax tries a miracle offload with three players on him and so late in the tackle that Lussick wasn't thinking it was coming. He holds the ball, we set up and keep going and even if we dont score, we are down by 6 still. Instead, we are down by 12 with less than 4 mins to go. Not harsh at all.

We were down 26 - 4 at half time.
That had more to do with our loss than one wayward pass from Lomax 4 minutes from full-time.

I'm not blaming the forced pass for our shitty first half defence, I'm blaming it for us not scoring 26 points and the scoring being locked up with 3 minutes to go.
