Lussick was poor, no doubt, but Hopgood wasn’t any better. In fact, he had a shocker. Dylan Walker completely exposed his limitations — he’s just not the elite lock some make him out to be. If this is the standard he offers in big games, then the club really needs to think long and hard about his long-term role. Personally, I’d be moving him on and shifting Jack de Belin into the No. 13 jersey come 2026. At least with De Belin, you get toughness, effort, and defensive steel — three things that were sorely missing.

Not sure there is much else they can do to improve it. Unless they get rid of the Hill but structurally may difficult.

Only 1 TV screen and a scoreboard that doesn't have a countdown clock is frustrating.

Line up for a drink in the grandstands wasn't too bad.

Toilets okay.

From the surbaban grounds i have attended.

I put it above Brookie oval but below Newcastle and on par with the old Penrith stadium..

Haven't been to Shark Park yet but that's the portaloo of Rugby League grounds.

The poor start let us down, 26-4, disgraceful missed tackling and handling errors. I just had that bad feeling before the game, I mean they barely win at Wollongong, the two suspensions and that first try summed up their lack of concentration. Poor marker defence.

I dont know how they will turn it around against Penrith, who are in really good form, and we're losing more players to suspension, possibly. Just hope a few blokes are fit by then.

Nsw cup plays next Sunday against the brave chooks...make it an audition for 1st grade the following week. 2-3 players auditioning for prop/2nd row.
We could always play Williams there and play someone up front.

At one stage , Lussick picked the ball up from a play the ball and completely went to the wrong side of what seemed to be the call. Confusion and another attacking opportunity died.

Sure TDS might be asking for a contract that is viewed as overs, but you must see the absolute need for a running 9 as well as a defensive one. Then again , our HOF hasn’t nailed a competitive signing for some time, the club needs at least a couple of elite players signed. No excuses we have the funds and spots available, all this garbage about alignment from Jim means nothing if we plod along as usual. Perhaps we need an alpha figure in there as Chammas alluded to , we seem slow and indecisive compared to clubs with aggression in recruitment.

Completely agree mate. Lussick is a pathetic player. But he’s the standard of signing that Vocabulary Jim has gone out and signed.

If they fail to sign TDS they have absolutely got rocks in their heads. We saw yesterday what a good running 9 can do. We are impotent with Kussick there and Ryley smith whilst ok as a player, does not run all to often either.
