There were some good signs tonight. We actually had a decent chase which was lacking all year.

Yes, there were some good signs, but we counteracted those with some fundamental mistakes. We look as dodgy as a $3.00 note under the high ball and our outside defence shows little sign of improvement. Also, we're still as slow as a slug with our line speed.

RCG was very honest in the post match interview on 9, when asked about our issues against lower teams when we can put the top two away. Basically admitted people lose their brain and deviate from the game plan, trying to spread it wide early against easier opposition rather than build the platform up the middle first.

Said it's something we have to get better at "as a team" - was careful not to point specific fingers at anyone...
