Until clubs, players and fans start kicking up a stink nothing will change. Clubs and players would need to make themselves ‘unavailable due to injury’ and fans need to stop showing up to and watching origin games and affected club games . I’d love to see all these things happen but doubt it will.
I suspect it's just up to the clubs to tell the NRL to find an alternative.
