What do people think of Terepo? I been raving about the guy. Be honest are you glad he has signed up? He is just getting his groove and showing how well he can play with consistant footy. Next season he will reach peak.

He has improved but will still probably be player 18 or 19 next year.

id rather Penrith win the comp, solely to attract more fans away from afl out west

Our Coach is tolerant of the Refs. He probably requires his players to be the same. Gutho and Timmy might really be mad MFs subdued by BA?

I am not sure that BA is as tolerant of the referees as it might seem. He just doesn't challenge or question them in his pressers. I see him as someone who knows he needs to get his own house (team) in order before starting to shift blame elsewhere and especially to the referees.

Some idiot clerk in the Eels office ordered Mitch’s jumper with the wrong date. Or it arrived with a typo and they had to run with it.

Absolutely agree re "pressers". I just hope he is addressing significant issues officially because whatever our process is, we continue to be sh*t on by match officials.
Like with rule changes, the best coaches know how to adjust and work the system. This also applies to how we deal with officials both on and off the field. To say Burgess did not effect Saturdays result would be untrue. If thats what works why arent we doing it. Nice guys finish last or so it appears.

We have an Ex FG referee working with the club. He does the opposed sessions and also does the video on our games. He highlights incorrect decisions for our staff to address to the NRL and referees.

I don't dispute that we need to be "working the system" better than we appear to be.

Interestingly, at half-time on Saturday night I moved over to the Souths Members area and sat with my brother and sister-in-law who are Souths supporters. After the Hayne no-try my brother said to me "ref will even this game up and Souths will win this in the final 10 mins". We all saw what happened and that was a mad 45 year South supporter making the forecast.

Lol. I was waiting for the second half capitulation. Its been happening for at lease 2 years now. I never feel comfortable regardless of the half time score. Would be an interesting review to see what our for vrs against in second halfs only during 2017/2018 compared to our first halfs.

Na. Check our for and against last year. Comfortable second halfs were they? Think again. Not being negative here but our second halfs were generally poor.

Our second half’s were rubbish in most games last year, we started faster than most other sides.

What kills me is the 20min period where we don't complete a set. You know the drill: we give away a cheap penalty, follow it up with a forward pass, then a dropped ball or two, with a kick out on the full for good measure.
