my understanding is the nrl has full control now which is why the draw is now fully set 3 months prior to the season starting. They take into account certain event weeks and club requests, but i dont think its like the old days where 9 got a list of every round and chose which 2/3 games they wanted

Panthers just showed how easy it is to set up an attacking play. And scored.
Spread it on early tackles, settled for one, and spread it the other side for the remainder.
I know it's only against St George but still.
It's not rocket science, yet our dills of coaching staff and our players just cannot execute such an easy play.

Yes in 40 mins he did create more tries. This is actualy true.

he was definitely very effective stepping through the panthers for that try - they are a good defensive team - tho they may have clocked off a bit

he also only made 5 tackles - missed 2 and had 1 ineffective ..... see what he can do week in week out when teams start running big merkins at him for 25-30 tackles a game
