I think the use of the interchange probably contributes to that though. We can wank on about the bench and interchanges, but we won because we had more resilience and defensive intensity.

I concur. Outside of Hodgson (who we seem to have found a solution in Hands) he is really our only genuine weakness from this side.If we had oppa instead of waqa we would've won easily. Gotta drop waqa
I thought we were lucky. About f**ken time too.We can wank on about the bench and interchanges, but we won because we had more resilience and defensive intensity.
f**kwitThis is an EELS supporter site dickhead.
Can’t say I agree. We were up for that game in a way that we haven’t been all year.I think the use of the interchange probably contributes to that though.
Greig's f**k all minutes compared to Makatoa suggests he gets punted first.I concur. Outside of Hodgson (who we seem to have found a solution in Hands) he is really our only genuine weakness from this side.
Can Doorey also play in the middle because when Lane comes back, I think Bryce deserves to keep his spot and then it’s either Maka or Doorey who drops out of the 17. We really need another middle on the bench so hopefully he can as he provides more intensity than Maka. Either way our depth suddenly looks a bit better as Murchie and Jirah are reserve graders.

That's true too, but if Hodgson and Hopgood end up playing 80, I suspect we get run down in the end. Can’t say I agree. We were up for that game in a way that we haven’t been all year.
Yup. Bryce has been good since he controlled his offloads.I concur. Outside of Hodgson (who we seem to have found a solution in Hands) he is really our only genuine weakness from this side.

Man, he missed a few, let the try in, have a penalty and another one early in the game
Yeah, we'll win f**k all if he's not playing.Jnr will cop 3 weeks which will hurt
??? That doesn’t fly. In our first 3 games he was definitely in our top 2 available backrowers which meant he was going to play longer minutes. The alternative was Momoisea getting more minutes. Now Matterson is back, he isn’t (arguable) in top 2 which means he can play less minutes. Nothing really to do with rotationsIt's ba's bench rotation. Some of the players can't play 80 and need to be replaced after 25 to 30

But its chewing up 3 interchanges to do that .... will need to scam a few HIAsI’d be going Hands - Hodgson - Hands or Hodgson for 25 and then Hands for the remainder.
