198m run metres for Fergo with his two tries. Man of the match?

Entire game we were very conservative. It seemed tactical. It says a lot about the Tigpies that we scored 7 tries with little extravagance.

You only have to beat what's in front of you and it's great to get a win, but for mine it just continues to mask our deficiencies.

Needless to say, we made some errors that were costly and kept the Tigpies in the match. We could've and should've put 50 on them. We could've put 7 tries on them by half time.

Our attack is clumsy at best inside the 20 metres and will be pretty ineffective against a decent team when it matters. Hopefully it improves significantly by seasons end.

Our defence is overrated when it matters, and was showed up against a team who didn't really attack that well. A decent team will expose us even more. It'll need to improve if we're any chance come seasons end.

So, lots to work on, however, two points is two points in Round 4 though.

An odd game. We still play in patches.
This game if we where in tune and used patience we could of blown out by 40.
What we do know is our forward pack is awesome. And Mahoney is playing great. We still have Matterson and Blake to bring back. This young prop from Cowboys will put pressure on guys like Stone and Hipgrave. So will Bryce.

Questions will be -
Does Blake take Opacic or Niakuore spot. I may have egg on my fave with Marata in centres. He was great today.Blake will be back though and straight in.
Can Bryce take Lanes spot or if Marata stays in centres a spot on bench.

D.Brown still needs to bring more to the table but an improved game by him. Being a long weekend its easy for players to have an off day.

This just goes to show that if you score 64% more points than the opposition then you're a good chance of winning.

Dont mind wins like this. We expected to beat them and we did, despite some dumb footy in parts that brought them back in the game. If we gonna lapse, do it in these matches that we can still win well

Did that look like a shit game on tv? I was at the game behind the posts (not too far away from Hollywood Jesus) and it seemed a decent game of footy to me. We absolutely dominated the middle and there were plenty of bodies in motion in attack. I was actually surprised by our movement. Aside from the obvious brain farts by Fergo and Gutho, at the ground we looked pretty bloody good.

Yeah there was a time midway through the 2nd when both teams turned to gash, but I thought both teams lifted in the last 10.

Why does Dylan Brown always cut in when he has a run? I concede he is very young but God he does my head in with some of his lazy efforts in attack.

Lane needs to start on the bench next week and we need to buy a solid winger to replace Fergo next season.
