I'm all for the refs cracking down on off-side and play the balls. These two issues have plagued the game for years.
But, if they are going to crack down, they need to be consistent. Impossible I know.

In the lead up to the winning South's try, Tom Burgess did not get foot to ball when playing the ball, yet this has been one of the issues which the referees have penalised heavily this season, and indeed, already had in this very match.

Moeroa has shown plenty of aggression in his 74 NRL games. He was known for his frontal shots when he first came into first grade so now people don't run straight at him.
