Some bloke in the main thread (RIP @Bazal) made the offhand remark that we didn’t have any set plays but for mine the biggest difference today were our shifts to the left. Brown was finally made to pull his finger out and Iongi could join in the left side raids because of the influence Walker had in the middle as a link man. Lomax would punch down the right then we spread it left via Walker to Brown who then had 4 options. We didn’t have any set plays inside the 20, but the midfield attack was 200% slicker.

Walker gave everyone around him so much more time and most importantly, provided options

Dylan walker absolutely changed the game for us , we were a totally different team in attack for us. I have watched him at the warriors but didn’t realise how much influence he brings. Great signing and this was his only his first hit out for us.
With him taking charge your could really see the way Ryles wants us playing and for instance I saw what I expected of Brown coming into this season with faster play

Riley smith what can I say , was excited from day 1 after his trails and he just gets better and better.

Morretti also brought something to the team, does anyone one know what the issue with him was previous 4 rounds as he was never listed as injured as far as I am aware?

Dylbro Walker good today
And very little time training with the team. They and he will be much better for it. Quality, composed, experienced player who isn't overawed or phased who he's up against. Knows his role and plays it really well. This is a top signing and will be a really good for the younger players in the club to learn off him.
Once we have Moses, Williams and Simonsson in that will be a side with more quality and our x factor...

1. Was close. Personally I thought he knocked it on
2. Lane went out of his way and stepped into the dragons chasing player. It was the right call and another bonehead play by Lane.
3. The rule is if it goes out on the full it must be contestable for it not to be a penalty. Because Hawkins booted it 30m it wasn’t a contest so correct call.
The thing is I'm absolutely certain that I've seen drop-outs go out on the full in the 10 or 15m with no way anyone could get it unless sitting in row 3 and it's been a tap restart.
For parras sake going forward kick the f$^$# ball long unless u have Moses or lomax who can put it on the 10-20m line and make it a contest...
I reckon any attempt that goes out on the full should be a penalty

Dylan Walker looked 2 x classes above everyone else around him yesterday.

That mistake just after halftime was more on his support play not being in position to catch and be in the hole he was trying to create.

The fact he loves the 14 role when he comes in after 20-25 is even better.

Tbf the bloke always had natural talent he was just a peanut coming through at souths and looked like an arrogant merkin at Manly.

Going to a club like the warriors and getting older more experienced/matured as a person he is a better more rounded player now.
