They must have a shit HoF and R&R team.
Not as big a crowd as last week
Support maybe 50-50??
Maybe 18k, Shame
No Parra supporters at the game. Thanks Jim
Btw did anyone else notice a higher police presence plus security using metal detectors..
Thanks to the 2 idiots down at the MCG
So Jason actually listened to me !!!
Just have to hope Lomax doesn’t have a hissy fit about playing wing.Ryles indicated in the post game presser that the backline we ran out with yesterday is what they have decided “works best for our club and game” and I agree.
actually think Russell looked as good as he has an comfortable at centre, and Penisini looked back in his groove on his preferred side. Glad to see Ryles and the coaching team are willing to put their hands up and change the plan if it’s not working how they thought it would.
Simples. Just pick him at centre and tell him to stand outside this other bloke in the #2 or #5 jersey.Just have to hope Lomax doesn’t have a hissy fit about playing wing.
Heard a report where Ryles told him he needs him all over the park and he can't do that at centre. Didn't appear too upset at Full-time.Just have to hope Lomax doesn’t have a hissy fit about playing wing.
Great to see we wore that heritage jersey again yesterday.
That should be our home strip every home game.
It looks way better then the home strip they have designated for us this year.
It looks more parramatta and blue/gold
Win. Our youngsters and fitness will win it for usHow you think we will go in Darwin Browny ?
Good news that's been said out loud, but probably should have been like that a month ago.Ryles indicated in the post game presser that the backline we ran out with yesterday is what they have decided “works best for our club and game” and I agree.
Yep, giving Lomax a free range winger role - like Blacklock in the old days, and Hayne a little bit before he shifted to fullback - should work. Stick the #4 jersey on him to satisfy the ego or the previous comments about wanting to play right centre - but it now gives certainty to the other guys about their role.actually think Russell looked as good as he has an comfortable at centre, and Penisini looked back in his groove on his preferred side. Along with the 2 failed passesI reckon it was a lot easier for Ryles to let Lomax make himself look a fool to start with i suppose on this centre issue.
Last week's brookie performance was the final straw especially some of those defensive decisions.

Mmm, only one of us was right though Muz.don’t be so negative
Surely Simonsson is still a better option at left centre than Russell and going further a better option than penisini at right centre...Good news that's been said out loud, but probably should have been like that a month ago.

Penisini is a right centre and nothing else. Russell is fine enough at (left) centre and can now develop his combos with Addo-Carr. Looks like the club think Simonssen is primarily a winger given his selection there in Cup - but he's first man up to NRL if there is any backline injury (though it was good to give Samrani a taste of firsts when we had multiple blokes out).
Sticky said the heat effected his boys up in Cowboyland.Win. Our youngsters and fitness will win it for us
