We didn’t play the best, we did it the hard way, but gee that was a bloody good win!!
The difference between an average team and one that's on the way up. For me, they had some mistakes in them after they couldn't breach Penrith's defense early in the game. But, they hung in there, tackled well and took their chances when they were on offer. I think they'll learn a lot more out of that win than any other so far this year.

He's probably waiting outside the stadium for JFH to console him and tell him he is the best forward in the game and way better than Jake T!!!
Other way round. He jumped in the car as soon as Reg ironed out the vicious fish. (my autocorrect got that right, theres no excuse)

He is a gun player. Probably Penriths best forward last year and tearing it up this year.

James Tamau playing for contract has been good. Yeo and Kikau are dangers. This is the best pack we are up against this year by a good mile

Wouldn’t be surprised if Penrith get us tonight...We are due for a good loss
Good work TPB, no wonder we won

Game of the season. Penrith where a little under strength but close to their best side. All points scored by Eels while the Vicous Fish was having a rest.
It come down to the former panther Waqa Blakes individual brilliance and a ball taking a bad bounce on the back up fullback.

Parra did seem a bit off for me. MJ was poor all night and I felt Sivo was lazy in attack. Fergo makes bad calls in defense. Waqa Blake is a great defender so I am unsure why Fergo doesn't let him do his job.

N.Browns energy changed the game. He was my MOM. Prior to that the Eels never looked capable of scoring.

One thing I was hoping they didn't do and did was attempt a field goal. Your 6 infront. Sure a field goal ends it. But with 3 mins to go I prefer to just push for a try and if not let them have the ball 2 mtrs out. It is near impossible to go 98mtrs. The most likely scenario is forcing a pass and an error or kicking it back to opposition. Either way it just about ends the game. Or gives them maybe one more set again in poor field position.
Missing a field goal is above 60% I would guess. 7 tackle set so it's like giving them the ball on the 30. Made for a great finish but need to coach a team not to bother with it when less then 5mins.

If it's more then 10 then sure a point makes sense.

Nathan Brown was immense. I reckon best game in a Parra jersey. The catalyst for our ripper of a win.
Him, Waqa who was brilliant, RCG and Junior our best tonight.
Nathan Brown definitely got new admirers tonight.
His ball playing and straight hard running was super impressive.
His setup for Moses field goal attempt was all class...
Go u mighty Eels

What a game. Both sides line speed was phenomenal most of the match.

Need to deal with Big Brain players like Terepo and Evans, but once Brown and Paulo came back and we got some space again late, we looked great.

Evans was ok but he forces the offload a bit.
Terepo I thought wa ok but Parra did go down a gear when Brown,Jnr,RCG went off.
