He's a big lad, mobile and can tackle. He came from the knights, but I think he was found in a 2nd Div team here in the Balmain area from memory.
He did play in one NRL game, I don't think it was anything special, but he's only young.
He also did the WT podcast in '24.
Born in Switzerland.
Good info, thanks mate. Hope he is a goodin but he sounds like a work in progress.

I don't know but I figure this isn't a huge issue.
It is a huge issue as if we are to win more games next year, I can foresee a lot of close games where goal kicking is the deciding factor.
I'm hoping Api is able to play big minutes but we don't want to burn the man out.
DaSilva is an option who kicks in the high 80's so he could get go.
I've said it before that the club has a history of playing out stupid fairytales and if AD is training well he also might get a gig.....AD, Bateman and Sully must go though as it's not only spots they are taking up but a bit of coin too. Money we can spend on one of those good players that seem to always crop up after Nov1...like May did.

I could see him knocking off Klemmer or Twal for a spot.

I haven't looked into it but is his body up for a middle role. No where to hide there.
I hope what you guys are saying is right because I still think we are one good fwd short of a good pack.

I think so, but hard to really say, until he's had a few games. But he's certainly got all the attributes required to make it.
He'll be 23 this season. Wouldn't' be expecting him to start, but I think he'll get a few games.

Jarome seems to be responding to the negative press of late by being positive. There's nothing much else he could do quite frankly as actions speak more loudly than words.
If he influences our club with his positive attitude and raw ability that translates into wins, culminating in us marching up the ladder, then that's great.
He seems to be a nice chappy, that regardless of whether or not he sees out his contract or not, if he can steer us in the right direction then that's even a greater win.
The club needs to change it's culture and mindset into a winning one.
A good roster is not always the only way to win. You have to have a champion driving the ship, especially in attack. We do have a few deficiencies still but a great general driving the standards and directing the plays can overcome this.
If we can keep our spine together, keep developing our future stars, the rest will sort itself out regarding recruitment imo as they will attract good players
Ideally we need another Jarome to be his understudy. Finau could be a player who benefits from all this if the club continues to develop him properly. If Luai goes, hopefully in 2 years we could have a great replacement.
All what I've said is Marshall’s biggest test, ensuring that we have the players to keep the momentum going. He must build this club into one that is better than when he started....it's beginning to look that way already so keep it going Benji.
