Well yes, I figured we might at least be fighting for a spot in the bottom part of the 8. Instead, we’re a rabble that is playing as badly as I can recall an Eels team playing, and are pretty much locks for another spoon.

I’d be happier to be a Dragons fan than a Parra fan at the moment - at least the Dragons have won something since Bob Hawke was PM, and they have a coach who despite his many flaws, actually has a track record of success.

Anyway, let’s just give it another 3 years, what’s that in the context of 40 years of mediocrity.

Dragons spent lots to buy older players to battle for the 8 so their coach can say he is doing a good job.. in the mean time we are about to poach their NSW CUP 6 who is pretty decent.

They won ball last year their lock is about to go to the Knights..

But if you watch out flegg team who are currently only conceding 12 points per game you will see the tea. Isn't playing as individuals but as a pack and they have actually improved since the first game... That's what you want and how you develop a winning culture.

Well, I look forward to this finally translating to success in first grade. But I won’t be holding my breath.

Probably not a great idea we never know what the future holds the Ryles may change and we are playing touch soon ..

Still waaaaay too early to be judging Ryles. He's always going to be up against it with no Moses. Let’s see how he does with our halfback in the side before calling him Kearney 2.0
Kearney had plenty of time without Hayne.
Ryles has shown absolutely nothing. We are conceding almost 34 points a game and scoring 13. Our defensive systems are the worst I’ve ever seen.

So f**king spot on. I’ve heard about how many Flegg and Matts titles we’ve won for decades, and it’s still added up to nothing in first grade.
Harold Matts is meaningless (and we've won it f**ken heaps). The age group around 19-20 years old is very important, and where the top clubs always do well. 2023 was the first time we won an under 19s title since 1990! And we are minor premiers again this year. We have never won an under 20s competition, although we won the old President's Cup (under 21s) in 1988.

Ryles has never coached anything other than a bush league side. And as a player he was ill disciplined giving away silly penalties and silly mistakes. Is it any wonder we are playing like a bush league side that gives away stupid penalties and makes heaps of mistakes?
