You speak truth.
You don’t bring Juniors through with essentially a bunch of reserve graders. We’ve gained nothing from letting Gutho and RCG go, as well as dropping Matto and even Cartwright. Get some wins on the board and then bring in the odd junior.
With the exception of Kelma - all those decisions were entirely sound and I back them 100%
And we are currently 17th.
Matto showed tonight he should have been in first grade. I can’t stand the merkin but he’s a first grader and we have very few of them. If he’s on our books, you play him. Cartwrights a sook but he’s worth trying over Lane or bloody Kautoga. That merkin is a legit NSW Cup player. People were giving him wraps last week, I thought he was dreadful. Don’t get me started on Guymer. He’s a boy playing against men.Happy with dropping Matto and Carty...
Reg is meh did have one nice run off the bench but middle defence was crap...
Would have liked to have kept Gutho but on a reduced rate and brought Iongi on from the wing Gutho would also have been playing 5/8 next year..
Kelman is the biggest fraud even I had high hopes for him but after the Storm game won't be seen again...
Kuatonga and Lane lucky to be playing first grade we all saw tonight what a second rowers should be like in Hudson Young....BTW we did have that in ICE
How do you assess those decisions as being “sound”
Panthers have nothing to do with us being the worst team in the comp. Ryles is Kearney mk2. Nothing surer.
2017 SG Ball was under 18s. However we were also strong in the under 20s that year, finishing runners up.
