My issue with Alvaro, Mannah and Tep is they don't generate quick play the balls because they can't bust tackles. Between the 3 of them they had 1 tackle bust all game. As a result we are never denting the line

Moeroa should be playing 80 mins on the edge.

Alvaro / Mannah do their job - they need to be pair with an "attacking" prop. It's not their fault. Evans has potential (some decent offloads today) and BA is obviously looking for another prop ( see Paulo rumours).

Your hooker has a part to play in that as well, to be fair.

Anyway I've always said we needed an attacking forward to match with Alvaro. Merkins just read the bit about defending Alvaro and ignore the rest because they want someone to shout at.

In fairness Pritchard was quite shit at his main role, IE dummy half. And his read for the Raiders try was abysmal

But he certainly had to pick up some defensive slack once Tepai went off.

Also those stats are light on for Mannah

I don't think Pritchard is that bad! Watch him closely tonight for a while and his service is ok in my opinion anyway. His defence is good, yeah he may have a few missed tackles but I say they are mostly from falling off from making first contact on a bigger forward - he could miss less tackles if he didn't put his body on line as much.

On th try, don't think it was his fault, but would have to watch it again.

Yeah, unless French has an injury explanation he is cut. If you told me I was going to be saying that 6 weeks ago I would have laughed.
We need to break this halves combo up.
I'd consider putting Gutherson at 5/8 and Norman at fullback. Just to try something new.
We also have zero try line attack. Thus instead of ending every set with a bomb on halfway we need to try some chip kicks. Essentially we need to attack from further out.

Seriously, the only players worth keeping in our squad is Brown, Edwards and Mennings. Maybe Moses, Moeroa and Alvaro. Everyone else can GTFO.

And I'm not one to slate players lightly. They're all a lot f**ken better than I was....

I'm his biggest fan in terms of the journey he's been on and what he's has been able to make if his ability, but yeah, Niukore straight swap next week IMO. Can't believe I'm saying it but if we can trade a decent Middle forward for Manu before June 30 we should ..
