Talking to Dylan Walker at the dinner on Friday night and he was not only confident but supremely certain we were going to win…I asked him how much have you drank tonight? …

his response……’ just trust me’
Similar talk with players on Friday, Williams just said “ don’t worry we will win “ without any hesitation. Ryley smiled and said , this is our week, after telling me he was carrying a sternum injury but I’ll play with it.

Not sure if it was due to the night and the 86 team being the focus, but every player there just was confident on what the outcome would be.

I reckon Kelly will fix up his issues before Will..
Will was fine today..,

first one (Galvin), if he turns in and helps Moses, he gives Galvin the over lap and we wouId be whinging that he didn't stay on his man

second (Sua) he had a leg injury, was struggling to run. Plus Kelly came in like the first try.

Third (Xerri), was left with a 2 on 1 situation, he had to choose between taking Burton or Xerri. Thought he did ok, holding without deciding, creating enough time for Moses to sweep around and almost stopping it

He wasn't fine today you dope or is it you Pou wannabe...

There was a few times today Moses had to make a cover tackle because Will was slow or un committed in defence...

The Galvin one as soon as he turn in he isnt passing thats when you make the cover tackle..

The Second one wasn't Will's fault..

The 3rd one he cleans up Xeri as well. But doesn't commit..

Now piss off and dont reply to me..

If he is then for who?
Hes a benchy at best.
I sort of agree

Kelma off the bench for impact.

But his gone next year anyway. I didnt think we missed him at all.

Ryles changed tact this week and he didnt have a choice but he picked a team with more of a defensive mindset & it worked.

I would leave it for next week.

Russell for Nanva or Kelly.

I liked Araz and would rather persist there with the youth.

Kelly is a backup as i keep being reminded so it should go back that way next week.

Fozball has had a 3 week honeymoon.

Played some garbage sides and got lucky.

No Turbo next week means they will have a backline reshuffle.

Honestly there due for a bubble burst. Its up to the squad to replicate what they did today more consistently.

Were a punchers chance hopefully confidence is back.

Interesting now with Ryles were 4/6 the week after having 40 or more put on us and one of those two losses was GP to the Tigers.

Why does it take a heavy loss to sharpen the mindset back.

Nanva really impressed me. I’d almost rather him stay in the team over Kelly when Russell returns but we lose the dispensation to play him. Can be carried on the bench however incase a back goes down.

i wouldn’t be tinkering with our forward rotation used today to get Kelma in. He too can take a spot on the bench

Geez , if I was a tin foil hat conspiracy theorist I’d almost think maybe they’d seen the Sportsbet script…..
