Lol at the head explosions in this thread today. Baz is right. You f**kwits need to STFU.

We have started the season above expectations and we've been playing well.

IALB said it early. The Knights have been offside all day and the refs have done nothing about it.
Also, the Knights have been shite all season, and then they come out and play like this.
Sure, it was expected, but it hasn't helped that the refs are doing nothing but enforcing a 5 metre rule for them.
They are controlling the ruck for this reason.
I'm not worried. Yes, we may not win, but fair dinkum, some of the throat cutting comments on this thread have been laughable.
Some of you lot need to have a good hard look at yourselves.
Next week when we beat the Dragons, you'll all be back here saying Guth is worth every single cent he is asking for.
Geez there are some shit for brains posters here.

Dafuq are you on about,Parra have only beaten 1 team inside the top 8 thus far this year and that's the Tigers

LMAO @ started the season above expectations when all the donkeys we have beaten are outside the top 8

If we can score first here we are right in the game and all the pressure will be on the Knights.. need a massive first set here, just like they had us on the back foot from the opening whistle.

Gutho looked like a genius last week letting the ball go dead before setting up Moses’s try, looks like a drop kick today though.

I just always expect a loss when we travel to Newcastle, or Canberra.

I figured we would lose today - but I did expect a fight.

Instead, the club has basically rolled over, pulled their pants down, propped their arses in the air and said, "Come and get it, boys!"

That start was closest to the worst I’ve ever seen, yet we’re sort of in striking distance, just crazy

They have been up quick and n our face, but that still can’t explain the pea hearted first 30mins.

It’s just typical Parra, I said after the first set to a mate watching the game with me we haven’t shown up today. They have been doing this for as long as I can remember.

Multiple playing groups and multiple coaches. You ever see a team like Melbourne just not show up and get smashed in the collisions like we have today???

Newcastle just played it next to the markers for the first 30. Some fkn bullshit going on in the ruck to take the markers out.

Mannahs been very good. So has Manu. But we did have a lot more ball when they come on.
Lanes been the best forward for mine.
His leg drive has improved out of sight. would love to see him develop a consistent offload like Corey Parker did in his twilight.

I agree. I feel the same when your carrying on about AFL or SFC or how hard done by the RBB is.

What has that got to do with anything?

I understand that but we ain't Melbourne level. We have been much better though this season and to be honest, I'm enjoying watching us play this season as I feel we are in a contest every week.
It may not be every week though.

The refs been pretty good all year but have a feeling they will ultimately be the deciding factor today.
