His strength at the moment is defense ... so put him at fullback where he will do almost none of it .... gutho is a shit hot fullback - no way we move him

Drown is actually playing a very good first receiver .... admittedly all he needs to domis catch and pass, but he is doing it well and helping backline movements to flow

I think Drown's problem is concentration ... dropping balls is just lazy and lack of attention to detail ..... i wouldnt drop him - just give him a good talking to

Absolutely, we look far slicker when Drown moves into first receiver on the left and digs into the line a bit, as opposed to Rheed's long pass out to Moses.

The long pass cuts out defenders, but Drown digging into the line commits them.

Having just finished watching it. It was the Tigers game all over again. If we treated them like they were a Scum or Smugfers. We’d have deadset put 80 on them. We put the cue in the rack with 60 minutes left on clock. Nrown injury sucks. Doubly because we’re probably now without Papa for something that shouldn’t have even been penalty.
Gough, even though he managed Dogs back into game, is possibly my favourite ref

Drown , can't seem to command the ball as mitch and gutho dominates

He can't really get into the game and then make dumb mistakes

Gutherson was also playing reserve grade at age 20, of course he's not going to be anywhere near Gutho or Moses at this stage but his defense is better than 99% of all 20year old five eights.
Everyone needs to lay off the kid. he 100% deserves to be part of this team on defense alone.
His line runs will improve dramatically as he gains strength. He'll be a devastating 5/8 in 18 months

He should be judged on how much he's paid

Hip pointer for Nathan Brown, mechanism looks non-contact but collision to hip prior to this would have caused the damage. Effectively is a bad cork to the point of the hip. Looks a lot worse than it is, usually worst case 2-4 weeks. Some even able to return within a week
Just saw the incident in the tackle b4 Nrown went down. Dog lifted knee into Nrowns hip on contact. Looks nasty but could have been worse if he got him in The Jatz Crackers. Might hear more from this.
