This has been a tough contest for us in recent years, and given the performance of the Dogs last week I'd expect nothing different today.

In reality, if we're a genuine Top 4-5 side we just get this done.

If we lose and the Roosters win we will be 5th. Which is no longer top 4-5, it's top 5. It's a pretty simple concept. Mincer.

Well I use the expression, as there is clearly at this stage 5 teams that are well above the rest, but one of them will obviously miss out on the Top 4, which is where you seem to need to be come seasons end to win the comp. All 5 are realistically Top 4 teams though. It use to be 6, but stuffed if I know what is doing with the Faids.

Yeah. I agree. 5 teams that are a cut above the rest. If the eels lose tonight though I'd still have them sitting amongst that group. 1 game doesn't undo 2.5 seasons worth of work.

True, but if we lose games like tonight, after losing a game like the Dragons, come seasons end I can see it resulting in us missing the Top 4 as a result.
