Was at a members function with a few other excellent Eels LU brethren.

Our fearless leader Jimmy (Timmy Mannah) Sarantios was there.

At a function Jimmy boy repeatedly dropped the F bomb around women and kids. As someone who was brought up not to swear around women I thought it was utterly embarrassing that our CEO would drop the F Bomb at a club function. What a clown.

I know the whole “you make your own luck” and “take the control out of the refs hands” stuff.. but gees after rewatching the game on tv (after watching at the stadium) surely we are due some calls from the ref

JAC’s rolled ball that he did attempt to strike was repeated numerous times all night by both teams but only we get called up on it. They score next set thru Iro and there is now clear camera angles showing he drops it putting it down.

My Father also raised me to never swear in front of women. Doing so was punishable by way of violence or unspecified time in gaol (my room).
Unfortunately for me though, my Mother was a staunch women's libber who believed in equality (especially for women) to all. This trait also rubbed off on my 2 sisters.

The real story is now we are expected to have good room in the cap, obvious needs in the team and a coach that seems to understand the modern game.
What concerns is that we have the same recruitment team who have let the club stagnate over the last 4 years, can they resurrect their careers and the club . Big decisions and there’s a massive focus on the ability of R&R .

Looks like they're doing well in the pathways. It's just a matter of keeping the right ones without overpaying them. That's what the good clubs do.

Disappointing result, because all of their tries were pretty soft. Basic defensive errors again.

What is annoying though is the refs/bunker. Not saying we were the better team, but that first try there was a blatant forward pass. One of the try put downs was reviewed by the bunker - to me it was clear as day the Sharkie dropped it. WTF does the bunker look at? My son showed me footage thus morning of another dodgy put down. FFS!

Then there was the baffling decision to penalise Bailey when he was clearly contesting the ball and got his arm caught up. What was he supposed to do?

so basically now if you compete for the ball and don’t win it, your arms must fall off your body so as to not touch the opposition or it’s a penalty

I very nearly choked to death during the Roosters game when ZDC clearly didn’t ground the ball then dropped it. And Gould then tried to say ‘surely if the arm holding the ball is over the line, that’s good enough’ Such a hypocritical merkin.
