Fast play the balls and hits like dynamite. Excellent forward. Ultra consistent. He isn't a wrecking ball. Jnr and RCG are better meter eaters but the Vicous fish gets the side going. Great player.
*When not opposed to the Best Parra. Did he even play on Friday night. Leniu (sp) was far and away their better prop.

I still think what Penrith created is great. Majority of that side are juniors. Its not like the Rooster in years gone past when they have purchased super stars from all over.

Easy to knock them for winning but I am very impressed with how they built this side.

They just showed that the NRL are looking into one of Cleary's conversion attempts, where our trainer went for a scoot across the goal posts as he kicked it ... whether it should have resulted in him getting another kick

So the NRL are more concerned about that than the obvious knock on that led to a try? Give me a fkn break.

If Cleary had an issue with it I'm sure he would've mentioned it to the referee at the time.

Excellent question.

I'd say he'd probably be worth a little more than Papali'i, given his superior defence, abs ability to play multiple positions well.

I would hazard a guess that he might be able to command somewhere between $500,000 to $550,000; whether we can match that, though...
Matto has a superior offload as well. Papa does offload but Matto's is a little better at it.

From what I've seen, they're mostly bitching because it wasn't a foregone conclusion that Reed would definitely have scored - therefore, he cannot be awarded a penalty try.

But you're right - they conveniently ignore that blatant knock-on which lead to their try.

So, take one try apiece off each team - we still win on goal-kicking!
It never is a forgone conclusion. He may have dropped it putting it down. The point is that he was pulled up only millimetres from the line. If he wasn't held back he have made that extra few millimetres. I didn't think the call was wrong. If it was against us I'd probably howl though.

Jt said that if he was in the parra team, he would've preferred salmon to be off for 15 mins that the penalty try.

We wouldve had another set against 12 players and would've drained more out of them and probably score later

They were drained. Yeoh don't drop balls like that.

We showed the others how to beat them

BTW, the fish was quiet for mine
The Fish quiet all right. He was heavily marked and didn't get a chance to make any noise.
