thanks RedVee, do you know if he played lower grade RL for North Sydney, as a 'P.Doust' played in Norths under 23's in season 1973 as a winger.

I asked the same question on dave's mightybears.com.

The one response i got said its definitely him, the Peter Doust, of now Saints officialdom- played on the wing for North Sydney league third grade/U23's in 1973. The poster/source wouldn't be wrong either.

I was just coming back to say that I had some deep, long repressed memory of Dousty playing a little league. You beat me to it.

hmm.. now we know why we had that horrendous black and red jersey in the charity shield .. and 'someone' has put it around that the players came up with it .. ..

That is correct

Peter Doust was a fullback/winger for Norths lower grades for 2 years and also played Rugby Union for Port Hacking.

He was based in North Sydney for employment at the time.
