I just simply want to know:

How do you, the loyal Roosters fans, feel about it?

I can honestly say that if my team behaved that way I'd be ashamed and very angry.

I just cannot see why there is a need for the cap to increase; everyone voted against it.

Bear in mind, I don't like Gus or the Roosters much, but I am not flaming; I really want to know how you guys feel.

Cheers.

See you all at Parramatta Stadium next year!

I am 100% behind the decision. Parramatta has always been a follower, not a leader. The Roosters set the trend, and have done so since 1975.

Eelementary, while you may not be intending to incite or infalme etc etc, another thread regarding the matter is pointless in my eyes. Those answering threads in the NRL section are loyal Rooster fans and have, I think, given their opinion on the matter quite vocally.

I see no point in adding to a discussion that goes no where fast and results in everyone getting hot under the collar and throwing childish insults, when in reality, it is something I have neither control nor ownership of.

chicken!

eel this has been a hot topic in our house which is home to 4 rooster fans and a soccer mad Welshman that wouldn't know one tip of a league ball from the other. while our opinions all vary a bit in different areas, I can categorically say that we support a lift in the salary cap. personally I dont agree with ultimations or the favorite analogy at present, the gun being held to the head by the roosters but I dont believe my club wants this to go into the courts either, nor that it will. As a nurse and not a lawyer, manager etc I have no idea what the answer is to actualy make the nrl take notice of clubs (and it is clubs) that want the salary cap increased but I dont believe my club has gone about it the best possible way. However, as stated previously, I do support a rise in the cap be it through concessions, dispensations, a change in outside sponsorship arrangemnts etc. There has been argument of players being greedy and that they are paid a lot more than most of us but I don't begrudge these payments at all. A career in any professional sport is a short one and only a limited few will take up wellpaid positions in the media and such and not always the best men for the job. The majority will move on to other careers away from league, retrain etc and when you look at the toll playing league at the level they do will have on their bodies in later life, the salaries they are paid are little compensation for the chronic pain many will suffer because of the impacts their bodies have sustained through their short careers. so I'm soap boxing here but I just wanted to draw attention to the fact that many of these mens livelihoods and quality of life will be shortened by their current careers so paying them a little more, across the board if clubs can afford it isn't a bad thing. I guess I have looked at this through red, white and blue tinted glasses from a completely different perspective than most but it'll add another argument dimension to those with an aggression nature.

Peace all and Happy New year. :D

And look. some gramma and minimal spelling mistakes. Ozzie, lift your game. ;-)

I don't think Mortica gives a flying rats bottom who likes her or not at present (or on any given day). She's currently soaking up as much alcohol, sorry, sun, as is humanly possible with other fellow campers and she's out of my hair and taken the beloved Caro with her.

While the women are away, BP can play LALALALA...now if I could only find someone to play with.

Hope it all goes well Oz.

Has the lady of the house got a good supply of knitting needles? Looks like you're going to need them. Whats a few skin tears with a bit of fly blow under it? At least they'd smell you coming. :-&

When are you heading up to Sydney?
